The premiere performance of this fantastic show sold out in Melbourne weeks before it opened and the first show at the Albury Entertainment Centre in 2024 had the crowd on its feet throughout, yelling for more.
One of the biggest concert events and albums in music history becomes one of the biggest tributes as we honour Neil Diamond and the memory of our darling Olivia Newton-John. Such an event requires two very special performers. Michael Zammit is a craftsman musician who plays Diamond as if he were standing on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles that Hot August Night. He toured the US in the 90’s with Pseudo Echo and remained. He now fronts his own band the Tequila Brothers and has built a huge following. Audiences have been blown away by Jenn Allas’ renditions of Olivia’s classic hits, commenting that the quality of her voice is as close as anyone has ever come to emulating the beautiful melodious sound that was Olivia’s trademark.
Michael and Jenn have performed together many times. Who better to bring the magic of Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton John to the stage in this ‘Hottest’ of new productions that features classic hits including from ‘Hot August Night’ - Crunchy Granola, Sweet Caroline, Cherry Cherry, Cracklin Rosie, I Am I Said and Olivia’s Physical, I Honestly Love You and the hits from Grease and Xanadu.
This is a night of pure magic that will have audiences singing and dancing from start to finish.
