In recent years ticket resales have become an increasing issue in the entertainment and theatre industry. Purchasing tickets from an unauthorised third party provider can often lead to counterfeit tickets and tickets that are sold at inflated prices.
Live Performance Australia (LPA) is the peak body for Australia’s live performance industry. The Albury Entertainment Centre is a member of LPA and adheres to the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice.
Please be aware that The Albury Entertainment Centre has no obligation to honour any tickets purchased via unauthorised resellers.
If you attend an event with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised reseller (such as Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia or otherwise), your ticket may be cancelled without a refund, and you may be refused entry to the Event.
LPA has released a guide which has been developed to better educate consumers about where to buy authorised tickets and the risks of buying from the secondary market.
LPA has also released a video to better educate consumers on how to buy tickets safely online.
