Award winning company, The Other Theatre Company, once again brings Shakespeare's work to Albury Botanic Gardens this March with Macbeth.

Considered one of William Shakespeare's darkest plays, this contemporary interpretation of the original story is told with a backdrop of war, confusion, elation and opportunities to go on to bigger and better things. Macbeth will meet with the witches and scoff at their prophecy... until it comes true. Through his own ambitions and his wife's urging, he will plot and scheme and murder until he is King of Scotland. but through the guilt of his actions and more prophesies, he will descend into madness and lose everything.

Audiences will find this stylised adaptation of Macbeth dark and sexy, all with a hint of tartan.

This is an outdoor event. BYO picnic and chairs. Vendors will be available on site selling food and drinks.

Gates open at 7.00pm. Tickets for Friday 3 and Saturday 4 can still be purchased at the gate. PLEASE NOTE all pre-purchased tickets will be available for collection at the Botanic Gardens at 7pm before each performance.
