Charlie Siem is one of Europe’s brightest international classical violin sensations. He joins Sydney’s Omega Ensemble, one of Australia’s finest and most lauded chamber groups, showcasing a diverse repertoire of showmanship, passion and sheer virtuosity. Charlie Siem plays the 1735 Guarneri Del Gesu violin, known as the 'D’Egville', previously played by Yehundi Menuhin.
He works with many of the world’s finest orchestras (The Royal, the Moscow and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestras; the Czech and the Oslo National Symphony Orchestras) and conductors (including Charles Dutoit, Edward Gardner, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Sir Roger Norrington, Libor Pesěk and Yuri Simonov) and performed for the Queen of Denmark.
He also has a fan base in the pop and rock music world, citing Lady Gaga and Katy Perry as friends and has played alongside artists such as The Who, Bryan Adams and Jamie Cullen.
