The Waifs 25th Anniversary Tour

2017 marks 25 years of The Waifs! To celebrate and commemorate, the band will be hitting the road for a mammoth national tour that includes Albury, and are releasing their fourteen track studio album, ‘Ironbark’, along with 11 bonus tracks making a rousing collection of 25 songs, to celebrate 25 years.

This iconic Aussie band has long been delighting fans with their soothing vocals and charming acoustics. The Waifs upcoming performance at the Albury Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 15 March at 7.30pm has already sold over 350 tickets in only seven days of ticket sales. And as if the convenience of enjoying their concert here in Albury wasn’t enough, there’s an even bigger incentive to buy tickets. Ironbark, the Waifs 25th Anniversary Studio Album, which is being released March 3rd is available to purchase for only $5 when you book tickets. The album features 25 tracks over two discs, all recorded live and acoustic at the same time in Josh Cunningham’s home studio in rural New South Wales. The album is called Ironbark because of a majestic eucalyptus the band could see while recording, they wanted to reflect the resilience and inner strength of that mighty tree in the title.
